Hey There!

Hi! I am Chandra! I have loved photography for as long as I can remember.

I never thought it was possible to turn my love of photography into a career so my 20’s were spent working in restaurants, bars, and retail. Everyone always said the market was oversaturated, starving artists, blah blah blah.

In 2015 I took a chance and attended Western Technical College. While you don’t NEED a degree, I wanted to go to do something for myself. Three years later I graduated with a double major in Digital Media Production and Graphic Design. I spent years trying to get a job in my field to no avail so I kept circling the bar and restaurant industry. I tried call centers, beauty retail, and a district manager position but none of it felt right - OR the establishments didn’t set their employees up for success.

In 2021 I finally woke up. After walking into a kitchen where the special wasn’t prepped, and no one was informed, I realized this pattern wasn’t going to change. With the encouragement of my husband telling me, “Bet On Yourself,” I walked out and opened my own business.

It has been nearly 3 amazing years of empowering clients from all walks of life to do the same! I love the sanctuary I have built where people can find peace, and rest along their healing journey. A safe space to be yourself. A safe space to practice vulnerability. A safe place to celebrate yourself, your accomplishments, and milestones.

  • Hello friends! My name’s Daniela & I’m Chandra’s 2nd photographer at large events. I am also a web and graphic designer & founder of HELLO SWEET ART .

    I love working with Chandra and meeting all her incredible clients! Chandra has the gift of making people feel so special, understood, beautiful & she always encourages people to be themselves and be proud of who they are!

    She’s an amazing friend and a very talented photographer! I can’t wait for you to meet her and see your wonderful selves through her lens!

The Experience

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • All sessions require a non refundable retainer to save your photoshoot date. This includes the pre planning, a discovery call, hair and makeup, and hour and a half photoshoot, as well as same day reveal, and artwork ordering appointment.

  • I’m love dark and moody photos. And even though I love a moody articulated pose with soft light, I’m also going to capture your authentic self during the session. I love to make my clients laugh. <3

  • I got you! During the session I will walk you through poses as we go. I demonstrate them and I always ask if you are comfortable with me adjusting you once YOU are in the pose. EVERYONE is nervous before a session, that’s completely normal. I’ve heard it from every client and I get it! It’s scary on the other side of the camera! I also work with clients during the session to take a second and address any emotions that arises during your session.

  • I do not include raw images in my collections, nor do I offer them for purchase. When I was a cook I never served raw meat, and I will not distribute my raw files. I will provide the final edits for you. <3
